Description:
The Saugerties Little League was established in 1951 and plays in District 15 of New York State's Section 2. Girls ages 6-16 and Boys ages 6-12 are eligible for play in the in the league.
Initially started as a baseball program, the league added girls softball in 1974 and now is also host to one of the Hudson Valley's only Challenger programs. The Challenger program was developed to enable boys and girls with physical and mental disabilities to enjoy the game of baseball.
