Saugerties Cooling Centers

2 Saugerties Cooling Centers Are Available, for Anyone Needing Relief from Upcoming Hot Temperatures This Summer

We've enjoyed some beautiful weather in the recent past, but there are some 90+° days upon us.  92° today, 96° on Tuesday and 93° on Wednesday.  Then, thankfully, back down to a high of 75° on Thursday.

It's a good time to remind everyone that when severe summer heat returns there's no need for any distress.

The Town of Saugerties and the Saugerties Public Library are both available as designated cooling centers.

Town Hall is open 24/7 and is located at 4 High St.  It is in the lobby near the Tax Office and Police Department.  For anyone unfamiliar with the Town Hall layout and/or where its entrance is, please visit this page.

The Police Department can be reached at 845-246-9800 for any questions.

And the Saugerties Public Library is also available as a cooling resource as well.  (You can use the upstairs seating in either wing.)  Their hours of business are:
Mon: 10am-8pm
Tues: 10am-6pm
Wed: 10am-8pm
Thurs: 10am-6pm
Fri: 10am-5pm
Sat: 10am-2pm
Sun: CLOSED

For anyone who needs to get to a regular bus stop to get to a cooling center, but cannot, they can call UCAT Dispatch at 845-334-8458.
