Description: The Town of Saugerties Skate Park is open year-round from 7:30 a.m. to sunset.  The only exceptions to that are that it's closed during inclement weather and during unfavorable winter conditions.

Skaters are advised that wearing head protection, Elbow and Knee Pads, along with other safety equipment may lessen the chance of sustaining serious injury.

The Skate Park was built for the enjoyment of and for use by skateboarders.  The park has rules (below) that visitors to the skate park must abide by, for the enjoyment of all.

Safety Rules

The Skate Park is to be used for its designed purpose ONLY.  NO Bicycles.  NO Motorized Vehicles.  NO Alcoholic Beverages.  No Dogs or Animals.  NO Littering.  NO Loitering.  NO Trespassing After Hours.

Skate Park is NOT supervised by Town of Saugerties Staff.  Vehicles left after closing will be towed at owners expense.  Security cameras and video tape surveillance is in use.

Garbage receptacle containers are provided for the deposit of litter and garbage generated from the current use of this facility.  It is not for litter or garbage brought in from elsewhere.

Skate Park must be used in accordance with all regulations as defined in Chapters 50 and 54 of the Municipal Code of the Town of Saugerties, along with any and all subsequent Local Laws and/or Amendments.

Violators will be subject to arrest and prosecution.

Use of the Skate Park at your own risk.  Town of Saugerties assumes no responsibility, as provided in the New York Recreational Use Statute Law § 9-103. This section of law encourages the use of property for recreational purposes and generally exempts the owner from liability for injuries, presuming the owner does not charge a fee for access to their property or do something grossly negligent or intentional to cause an injury to a property user.
