Frank D. Greco Multi-Purpose Building. The building, which is a local civic hub, hosts Town Board and other board meetings, political events (e.g. debates), and events for seniors and others who rent it out.
The building also serves as one of the Saugerties polling sites for elections.
The building is named for Frank D. Greco, who served as Town of Saugerties Supervisor from 1976 to 1979.

The photo on the right is from Hudson Valley One, and shows the main interior large room. It is used for many events during the year, including Town Board meetings and other committee meetings. There are also many Senior Club events (see "Daily Planned Activities" below) held there. For any available days and nights, the room can be reserved for an event that you would like to hold there. You can schedule that by calling Lisa Stanley, the Town Clerk, at 845-246-2800, x16.
Monday through Friday, there are numerous activities held at the Senior Center:
*50 cents per card, 25 cents for the lucky number pool and 10 cents a card for the jackpot pool.
**There is a fee for the Wednesday morning yoga program. $5 drop-in or $15/month.
Hours: Tuesdays, 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Nutrition counseling is available at the dining sites or to home-bound seniors. For more information call 845-340-3456.
To receive Home Delivered Meals you must be 60 years of age and over, home-bound and a resident of Ulster County who is unable to prepare their own meals of have meals prepared for them.
Anyone may make a referral by calling central intake at 845-334-5125 and giving essential information such as address, phone number, medical contact and reason requesting meals. A home visit by the Office for the Aging or the Department of Social Services caseworker is required before the start of delivery meals

Cornell Cooperative Extension Ulster County Master Gardeners constructed a 400 square foot rain garden at the Frank D. Greco Memorial Senior Citizen Recreation Center (see photo below). It captures stormwater runoff from the entire front of the building before it reaches the parking lot. Runoff is directed into the garden using downspouts above and below ground.
