As reported in the Sunday, November 16, 2025 Daily Freeman, the football Sawyers earned the first Section 9 football title for a Saugerties team since 1993 with a victory over defending state champion Port Jervis.

On Saturday, November 22nd, they will meet the Section 1 champ at 3 p.m. at Faller Field in Middletown.
