Mohonk Preserve Offers Free 6-Week Passes

Mohonk Preserve offers free six-week passes for Ulster County residents Hikers at Mohonk Preserve.

GARDINER, N.Y. >> Mohonk Preserve will provide free six-week passes to visitors with proof of residency in Ulster County, according to an announcement. 

The passes, part of the 2025 Healthy Ulster Pass Program, will be distributed between Thursday, March 27, and Sunday, March 30. 

To obtain a free pass, visitors must bring proof of residency to the Mohonk Preserve Visitor Center, 3197 Route 55, Gardiner.  The passes must be picked up in person, with one adult able to receive four passes per household.  The free passes are limited, and only available while supplies last.  Children under 15 are always allowed free entry when accompanied by an adult pass-holder. 

The free passes will be valid until May 11. This marks the 15th year the Preserve has offered its Healthy Ulster Pass program.  The Preserve has distributed over 55,000 free passes to Ulster County residents during the organization’s annual Healthy Ulster events, according to an announcement.
