The Saugerties Society of Little Gardens is a community group focused on helping keep Saugerties beautiful with the help of members who love flowers and gardens.
They are responsible for the seasonal pole box plantings that you see each year in the Village, from Spring through Fall.
The Society celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2024. They hold an annual fund-raising flower and bake sale, typically in the month of May.
Membership isn't limited to Village residents. And meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the months February through December.
The current president of the Society of Little Gardens, Dale Winchester (dale.winchester1027@gmail.com) invites anyone interested in flowers, gardening, and promoting environmental awareness to come be part of a fun group that help show Saugerties at its best. Feel free to email Dale for more information.
