The CCA renewable electricity supply contract through Hudson Valley Community Power (HVCP) will end after June. As always, you have the right to select a new electricity supply offer from the many available to Central Hudson customers (see below for link). If you do not select a supplier, you will be automatically defaulted back to Central Hudson basic service beginning in July. In either case, there will be no interruption in service.
Here are some recommendations on how you can continue to support clean energy as well as a reminder regarding settlement award payments.
If you're currently enrolled in the HVCP CCA program, you should have received a letter from the program's electricity supplier, Direct Energy Services, LLC. Again, if you do not act, your account will automatically switch to Central Hudson standard electricity supply offering in July.
