Ulster Co Climate Corps Summer Internship Program.webpUlster County is thrilled to announce that applications for our 2025 Climate Corps Summer Internship Program are now available, and we encourage you to apply or share these openings with your network!

This is a paid, project-based ten-week summer internship program. Participants will be assigned to County departments to help implement the County’s climate and sustainability initiatives that work to meet the goals of the New York State Climate Act.
 
Requirements and Commitment:

  • Open to applicants ages 16 and older
  • Participate in 1-2 virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams
  • Spend a minimum of 1.5 days per week onsite
  • Participate in cohort programming (trainings, guest speakers, workshops)

Program Start Date: June 9, 2025 (Onboarding begins earlier, dependent on intern availability)

Program End Date: August 15, 2025 (flexible)

Rate: $18/hr

Commitment: Minimum 2 days per week, possibility of up to 4 days per week.
