Saugerties Library "Festival of Trees" Winners Announced

For the December 8, 2024 Holiday in the Village, there were 20 wonderfully decorated trees entered, which were all on display at the Library during the event.  The Saugerties Public Library thanks all the creative participants and has announced the prize-winning tree decorators:

• Kids/Teens Category — First Place:  Eliot Lirtsman and his tree
                                               Second Place: Karl Miyazawa and his tree

• Adults/Organizations Category -- First Place: Marissa Doring and her tree
                                                                  Second Place: Saugerties Society of Little Gardens and their tree

• Chairman's Award -- Edna Meiswinkel and her tree

The winners received gift certificates from Hudson Valley Dessert Company.

The 20 trees that were entered into the contest are shown in the Image Slider below.  The first 5 shown are the five winners named above (in order).
