Taking place in The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve from the Sterley Avenue entrance to the fabulous South Trail, this is the second of four seasonal outings sponsored in part by ShoutOut Saugerties, Susana Meyer grant for the arts.
On this special day we are also celebrating WORLDWIDE TAIJI/QIGONG DAY!
Following an opening poetry welcome by Mikhail Horowitz, Celeste will lead a group qigong session to attune with the nature of the season, preparing bodies, minds, hearts and spirits for a silent walk through the preserve to the edge of the creek. Upon returning there will be an opportunity to share experiences and to watch presentations of Taiji and Qigong forms offered by Ulster County students and practitioners of these arts.
Meet up for carpooling at Simmons Plaza, (northerly side), 1 pm.
