Biography:
Paul lives in Malden-on-Hudson and is a NY State licensed home inspector, a certified NY State Code Enforcement Officer and Fire Instructor (1 & 2) and is a member of the American Society Home Inspectors and Historic Building Inspectors Association.  He is a volunteer construction supervisor for Habitat for Humanity.

His education involved:

Paul has more than 40 years employment experience in building inspection, construction (labor and management), code enforcement, land use, zoning administration, report writing, consulting, teaching and related tasks/experience.

His hobbies including song writing, musical performance/recording, photography, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, scuba diving, traveling, history and current events, reading, golf, canoeing, kayaking  and cross country skiing.  He is a member of the well-known Saugerties band - the Paul Luke Band (country/folk/rock group).

In addition to Habitat for Humanity, Paul is a prolific volunteer.  His projects have included:
  • Community Construction Projects-New Paltz, Kingston, Saugerties, Harlem (NY City)
  • Fundraising entertainment committees throughout the Hudson Valley area.  
  • Big Brothers/Big Sisters
  • Disabled American Veterans (Nam Jam)
  • White Plains Historic School District/Buildings
  • Pro Bono Inspections of Historic Structures for Historical Societies, School Campuses, Museums
  • Home Inspectors NYS Council (pending appointment)
  • Historic Society-Review plans, renovations
  • Pro bono inspections for religious organizations
  • The Glasco & Malden Park Development committee
Responsibilities:

In addition to his Town Board responsibilities, Paul is the Town Board liaison to the following committees:
