Mike MacIsaac was born in Saugerties and grew up in Ulster County. After high school he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. After serving in the Marines, he attended Northeastern University where he majored in Computer Science.


Starting in 1987 he worked for IBM in Kingston and Poughkeepsie and now works for ADP in New Jersey, leading development and operations on mainframes. Mike served on the Saugerties School board from 2003 until 2007, holding the position of vice president his last year. He and his family have lived in Saugerties since 1993. He and his wife Deborah have three children in Saugerties High School and SUNY colleges.

Mike MacIsaac has served his country and community as a US Marine, a Saugerties School Board member, an AYSO soccer coach, a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, an “IBM Engineers Week” leader and as a Boy Scout volunteer. 

He was appointed to a one-year term for 2018 as a town councilman when a seat opened up as a result of the Supervisor's race.

  • The Zoning Board of Appeals
